Quick intro
Have an indie book ready for more visibility? Submit your book for consideration as a future FiiP promotional feature. FiiP features qualifying books through spotlights, newsletter mentions, blog features, themed roundups, social posts, and other reader-friendly discovery opportunities.
Who can enter
FiiP promotional submissions are open to indie authors, self-published authors, and small press authors with control of their own marketing. Fiction and nonfiction books in most reader-friendly genres are welcome. Authors must be 18 or older and must have the rights to submit all book information, cover images, and promotional materials provided.
What you submit
- Book cover image
- Book title, author name, and genre
- Book description or short promotional blurb
- Buy link, reader link, or author website link
- Author name and contact email
- Optional author photo, short bio, or social media links
- Please do not submit a full manuscript unless FiiP specifically requests it. This is a promotional feature submission, not a manuscript review.
Submission rules
- No nudity or explicit cover art
- No hate, harassment, or abusive content
- You must own the rights to your cover art or have legal permission to use it
- AI art is allowed only if you have the legal rights to use it commercially
- Your book description and submitted materials may be edited lightly for clarity, length, or formatting
- FiiP reserves the right to decline any submission that does not fit the tone, quality standards, audience, or purpose of the site.
- Submission fees are non-refundable if the submission violates FiiP guidelines, includes false or misleading information, contains inappropriate content, infringes on the rights of others, or fails to meet the stated submission requirements.
Feature-Ready Description
Please write your book description as if it may appear publicly in a FiiP feature. Keep it short, clear, punchy, and reader-focused. Tell readers what kind of story they are getting, why it matters, and what makes it worth a closer look.

How FiiP Reviews Submissions
FiiP reviews books for possible promotional fit based on:
- Reader appeal
- Cover quality and thumbnail impact
- Clear genre presentation
- Strength of the book description
- Professional presentation
- Fit with upcoming FiiP features, newsletters, roundups, and promotional themes
- Submitting your book now includes a $25 per-book submission fee.
- Every paid submission will receive some form of FiiP promotion, but the type and extent of that promotion may vary based on the book’s quality, fit, description, available information, timing, promotional space, and author involvement.
- FiiP may promote submitted books through feature page listings, blog posts, author spotlights, newsletter mentions, social media shares, themed indie book roundups, or other promotional opportunities designed to help readers discover independent books.
Possible Promotional Features
Selected books may receive one or more of the following:
- A feature spot on FiiP.net
- Inclusion in a FiiP newsletter mention
- A blog spotlight or author feature
- A themed book roundup listing
- Social media highlight posts
- A reader-friendly promotional blurb with cover, description, and buy links
All FiiP promotional features are digital visibility opportunities. We do not guarantee sales, reviews, rankings, downloads, or reader response.
Your Book Was Selected
After your paid submission is received, FiiP will review the information provided and determine the best promotional fit for your book.
Every paid submission will receive some form of FiiP promotion, but timing and placement may vary depending on our current schedule, newsletter calendar, available promotional openings, the quality of the submitted materials, and the author’s involvement in helping share the feature.
If additional information is needed, FiiP will contact you using the email address provided on the submission form.
Fine Print, Short and Important
By submitting your book, you give FiiP permission to use your submitted book cover, title, author name, description, links, and related promotional information on FiiP.net, in emails, on social media, and in FiiP promotional content. You keep full ownership of your work.
FiiP may decline, remove, or refuse any submission that violates our guidelines, includes misleading information, uses unlicensed material, or does not fit the purpose of FiiP.
The $25 submission fee is per book and is non-refundable if submission rules are broken.
